Tournament Rules

1. Entry Fee: $50.00 per angler (after August 10th, $100.00 per angler).
2. Fishing Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pm. Saturday, August 22nd, 2009.
3. All teams may NOT start earlier than 7:00am, if so, team is disqualified.
4. Scales open at 10:30am, close at 3:00pm.
5. Boats must be at the Doc Ford Restaurant for weigh-in before 3:00 Late arrivals are disqualified from tournament. Exception to this rule: Your team assists a disabled tournament boat, disqualifying the disabled boat.
6. Mandatory Captian’s Meeting, Friday August 21, 2009, 6:30pm at the Doc Ford Restaurant. Address is 708 Fisherman’s Wharf, Ft. Myers Beach.
7. All fish must be caught by hook, line, rod & reel and by only memebers of your team. No Wading.
8. All team members must obey all State of Florida Fishing & Boating Regualtions, including size and bag limits.
9. Fishing assistance from another boat, chumming and/or spotting holes is PROHIBITED.
10. Line size is angler’s choice.
11. All teams must maintain a distance of 50 yards from the other boats in the tournament.
12. Total weight of 2 Redfish within the legal slot size 18-27” with a tail pinch and released and swim away under own power.
13. Weigh master is final decision maker.
14. The FIRST team/boat to weigh-in will be considered the winning team/boat, in event of a tie on weight.
